Terrible play calling. Recht was so scared to let his young QB REALLY air it out. I know he threw for quite a few yards, but they treated more like a game manager and ran on 2nd and long and 3rd downs. Neb had the run game figured out, it was time to air it out in the 4Q.

Game still probably goes over if the 1Q isn't a field position battle and 0-0. Killer.

Rose Bowl: Michigan State WR Bennie Fowler Total Yards Over 45.5 [-115]
Fowler certainly does not have big stats in this run-first offense, but in going up against one of the most stout run defense's in the country - I think the Spartans are going to have to make some plays in the passing game. Fowler is the leading receiver for State with 525 yards on just 34 catches. A nice 15.4 yard per catch average. He is a key target for Cook with 24 of those catches coming for TDs or 1st downs, so I expect if given time that Cook will trust to look to Fowler. Fowler is also a Senior likely playing in his last game (redshirt possibilities due to past injuries) and that should provide the motivation. With Michigan State missing one of their key defenders, Stanford may also do a bit more damage and have the Spartans playing from behind - that would be a good thing for this prop.

Fiesta Bowl: Baylor WR Antwan Goodley Total Receiving Yards Over 94.5 [-110]
Really nice number for a guy who has beaten this total in eight of 12 games overall this season. Goodley figures to see more single coverage tonight as well with the return of speedster Tevin Reese who has missed the last five games. With Reese, Goodley was a big play threat because of the single coverage - averaging well over 20 yards per catch. Without Reese, that averaged dipped to where he only averaged more than 20 yards per catch in one of the five games without Reese. UCF's best chance to stay competitive is to try to bottle the Baylor run game, so expect them to try their best to not let Baylor get off on the ground. The Bears are about unstoppable if the run is working to set up huge play action plays. If UCF does bottle up the run, Goodley has shown that he can be more of a possession guy too. I think the big plays will make up more of the yardage, but he can work shorter routes to pile up yards as well.
