Gator Bowl: Georgia-Nebraska Over 60.5 [-110]
Even without Murray, the Dawgs look capable of putting up points on soft defenses. Mason was decent in the Ga.Tech game, going for 299 and hitting some big pass plays. Gurley is still going to be the man and he should find plenty of room against Nebraska's defense that gives up over 160 yards per game on the ground. I would also expect UGA to burn the Huskers through the air where they have not seen the likes of the Georgia attack from anyone in the Big 10. On the other side, Nebraska should be confident of moving the ball against a Georgia D that had trouble stopping Ga.Tech;s option and gave up a lot of pass plays to a team not known for passing the ball. Last year's Bowl Game between the two was chock full of offense with 76 points. Even with star power @ QB, I think both teams have serviceable QBs and solid running games as well as enough mistakes for some short fields.

Hopefully the wet field doesn't matter, little slick but it looks in okay shape. I try not to weigh that in too much as we saw the weekend with all the cold and snow in the NFL - weather can be over rated.

Yeah this looks dead in the water early. Footing is a little sketchy in patches, but mostly neither team has strung anything together - Nebraska bottled Gurley up on Georgia's first drive. Need some big plays to help out.

Well at least both are now moving the ball and getting scores - obviously we need more TDs and not FGs - but if they can keep this pace in the 2nd half, there's an opportunity still as much of a long shot as it is. Unfortunately the passing games have not really done much which is what we'd like to get those big plays.

Rose Bowl: Michigan State WR Bennie Fowler Total Yards Over 45.5 [-115]
Fowler certainly does not have big stats in this run-first offense, but in going up against one of the most stout run defense's in the country - I think the Spartans are going to have to make some plays in the passing game. Fowler is the leading receiver for State with 525 yards on just 34 catches. A nice 15.4 yard per catch average. He is a key target for Cook with 24 of those catches coming for TDs or 1st downs, so I expect if given time that Cook will trust to look to Fowler. Fowler is also a Senior likely playing in his last game (redshirt possibilities due to past injuries) and that should provide the motivation. With Michigan State missing one of their key defenders, Stanford may also do a bit more damage and have the Spartans playing from behind - that would be a good thing for this prop.
