Manny Ramirez has rejected the Dodgers' latest contract offer, the team revealed in a press release Thursday night.
"We love Manny Ramirez," owner Frank McCourt said, "And we want Manny back, but we feel we are negotiating against ourselves. When his agent finds those ‘serious offers’ from other clubs, we’ll be happy to re-start the negotiations." It's hard to believe a two-year, $45 million deal, with the second year at his option, still wasn't enough for Manny at this late date. Perhaps he really will miss the start of the season.

ManRam and Mr. Boras are playing with serious fire now. It appears as if other teams are not vying for Manny and if this continues LAD will lower their offer to probably 18-20 million and make him bite come last week of march.

I think manny and "rosenfag" may have under-estimated the market for free agents this year. especially for a 37 year old goof off
