Great slot/video poker machine overlays have been few, but 4-5 this year have qualified as great.
If 2014 in Vegas can duplicate 2013, will have no complaints, times are above average here from sportsbetting, to machines, to real estate, to improved traffic patterns.

Do I wish taxes were not an issue, of course, but these are the times we live in, and we must follow the rules of the road, or suffer the consequences.

Fishhead. If someone is willing to put in the countless hours, is Vegas still the place to go and get most if not everything free? I hear everything has gone down hill the last 10 years.

Comped food and drink are easily attainable at a variety of venues , as easy as ever, in many respects, easier than pre-2000.......only place comparable would be Reno, which is a city highly underrated by amateur gamblers throughout forumville.

Sounds like a great life if you want to live like a fukkin nomad scavenger living out of hotel rooms, bum hunting, and trying to squeeze every last penny out of a dollar in order to survive.

Where you gonna live Bear? In your car or out of a hotel room?
Cost of living out there is astronomical. I know several people who play poker for a living and it's so much more to it than just being "a winning player". I've seen some of them go busto as they've succumbed to the pit or they didn't have a budget planned and expenses caught up with them.
That's not to say it can't be done, but the people who make it happen are few and far between usually start off having a second source of income out there to help them get started aka a J-O-B

The big winners are the ones who can hit 55%-60% at 4 figures a bet
Listen, they only make movies about winners - and that's me!

If you want to make even decent money, let alone good money, gambling then Las Vegas and Reno are far superior to offshore books and the cost of living is very reasonable.
