So what actually constitutes being a job?What is employment?Keynesian makework jobs like clipping hair or toe nails on people who are on entitlement programs are negative employment.By that I mean even though you are considered employed,you are really hurting the free market economy sucking up tax dollars making the country less competive where it's harder to do business for the private sector that still produces a real durable good.A huge percentage of women in this country work in nursing homes,half way houses,school womens studies councilors.etc.Lots of useless jobs in academia teaching absolute nonsense fluff degrees like social service degrees teaching kids how do give away free tax dollars.Then you have men building white elephant public works projects,building houses the last decade to sell to deadbeats getting Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac government loans who shouldn't have qualified for loans.Then you have the defense industry and the military doing useless nation building and throwing tax payer dollars down the crapper and the people in that industry are considered to be employed.
It seems like no one produces anything in the free market private sector these days.When the great depression started,very few people were employed in some capacity by the government so at the beginning of the great depression,the unemployment rates and statistics were accurate.It was FDR that slanted and diseased the true unemployment stats because he was the mentor to Obama and did exactly what Obama is doing now creating make work government jobs.So ever since FDR did the same thing as Obama is doing now falsely stimulating the economy,we have kept a huge percentage of our employment as this false Keynesian employment.
So now Obama decides that we have to put the already Keynesian economy on steroids jacking up the rate of false government makework employment.We are in for some serious times when that can of woopass is wrought upon us!
What is the true unemployment rate in this country if you frown upon people making a living doing make work government work who probably are only qualified to work at Wal Mart or flipping burgers at Mickey D's?People making 100K teaching in college as a womens studies social service proffessor look down and mock Wal Mart greeters and Mickey D burger flippers but in reality,the Wal Mart greeters and Mickey D burger flippers as low on the employment chain as they are on,are more productive and fill a greater need to society.
It's an absolute joke when the government and talking heads on FOX Business,CNN Money and Bloomberg debate whether the unemployment rate is 8% or 9% climbing into double digits at 10%by 2011.It's frigging 40% now!!!!!!!!!
