you probably heard a friend or someone saying it and thought it was cool. Do Work wasnt popular until that show came out.

Nope, because he has his own show coming out right after Robs show is over, he said in a interview he will not be on the show at all. I think they had a falling out

No, "do work" is an old saying that has been around forever. Big Black from MTV didn't make it up either. Are you guys serious?

I'm not claiming to be a top handicapper, or to be a better handicapper than everyone else on this board. But I am starting to think that maybe I am way cooler and hipper than everyone on this board.

nah hg, you must be quite a bit older than us is all. i can remember my dad saying it to me 20 years ago, but for some reason it went away. for the kids under 30 or so, bigblack is the first person they have heard say it on tv and shit. i hear ya aao, taking up for one of his boys.

Rob/Black did not invent that term, and it doesn't matter how many internet dorks think they did. It's one of a million black street terms - "it's on", "booyaa", "you go girl", "do you", "all that" etc etc. a million of them. It's been around forever. It's only when someone on a TV show says it, and then millions of kids who see the show start saying it, and then their friends hear them saying it, that it winds up in people's internet profiles of themselves and forum signatures and screamed by sorority chicks and stuff like that.
