No, I'm afraid you're wrong. I also don't particularly like Joy Divison however I have a friend, Bert, who thinks they're great. Bert is one of these guys who really likes music. He knows every obscure little thing.
His opinions on music are more correct than everyone else. Like, while most people are entitled to talk about what they like and don't like, Bert actually knows what is good.
He is pretty much the ultimate judge. Maybe you have known people like him.
And he does not feel that Joy Division sucks therefore they don't case closed.Comment -
Bert is a snob. Does he lecture you about music, what's good and what isn't? I think we all know people like that.
I feel about Joy Division the same way George Costanza feels about pesto. I've really tried to like them, I really have. They just flat out suck.Comment -

There were not one but two movies that came out about Joy Division last year. Bert likes them. He also loves the movie 24 Hour Party People from some years back. It's also about Joy Division.
Quite a few movies about Joy Division considering they are not exactly the Rolling Stones in terms of stature.Comment
