It is my understanding that the bill prohibits use of credit cards to pay gambling debts. I don't use credit cards for gambling. I just use Neteller. I don't see this bill as a big deal. Why is everyone losing their minds?

I think most are admitting that this bill does little to effect online gaming but, I think, they're concern that this is just a first step type of deal... These anti-online gaming people aren't going away so, unless there is some type of major backlash, we probably will see a second round of this bullshit next year...

If by some miracle, the government was able to get ISPs to block all of these sites, the sites themselves would offer you 800 numbers to dial in to with your modem. If the US blocked these 800 numbrs, the sites would offer you international numbers to dial into and pay you into your acount the cost of the calls each month.
Further a satellite was just launched a few weeks ago (I believe by Microsoft and Boeing although no official release was made) that will provide everyone satellite internet access within a year or two. Is the US gonna shoot this satellite down?
