i'd rather take the points in these games
alot of these games wind up 1 point either way and the points could get you a win or a push instead of a loss

Yeah, I wish I hadn't gotten discouraged earlier in the year from tracking these. Next year I'll do it from day one, hopefully we'll see some profit

VD i tried this earlier in the year and it was doing well. then i started a thread and i started to get demolished but it seems to be hitting again. its most likely profitable in the long run. i feel the bookies rely just as much on public perception as actual facts. if the lakers cavs or celts are playin you are gonna get an inflated line and the public will pound it anyway. I cant speak for vegas because they have to many avenues of income. but think of the local bookie who takes 50 to 500 dollar bets he doesnt make all that money on juice of 5 to 50 dollars trust me. books make plenty of money off people blindly betting the team that is supposed to be better. BOL my man

I was wondering if you were gonna hop on this, VegasDave. Saw that 83% of 3k+ bets were on Weber St. spread--and then it moved down half a point. Didn't make sense to me.

ML moved from +170 to +150 even though all the action seems to be on Weber State... I'd likely make a small play on it at +150 as well, assuming I believed these worked in college. Can't tell after only 2 games

Charlotte was a big philosophy pick tonight Dave. -2 I ate that shit up. You are doing Reverse Line Movement, there is a difference between the philosophy of it. Quick run down. Charlotte and Atlanta played 3 weeks ago Charlotte at home that game -1. They lose by 5. Same scenerio Charlotte hosting Atlanta again, today they open at -2.5 higher then 3 weeks ago when they lost by 5 giving up 1. Take Charlotte to the bank tonight, I'm in Samsincharge little tournament and posted this game at 11 this morning, so you don't think I'm posting it when they are up at the half.

Thats exactly the kind of stuff I can't catch because I'm not a basketball person AT ALL... I'm going strictly on #s with these tracked plays. In football, baseball, or hockey I'd be right there with you on angles like that.
