brock if was as solid as it gets than why did the line drop from -2 to -1 1/2 with more than 50% of the money on louisville. It did win this time but in the long run these types of plays will make you a loser in the long term. It's a proven fact.

Never mind the fact that -1 at reduced juice and a -115 ML were available throughout the day. But it doesn't matter right, cause Louisville won by 18, right?

Where is it proven? I'd be willing to bet that it is within 3 percentage points of 50% either way. Anywhere from 47-53% for either side. Historically.

So even if your theory is a little bit right and you win 53% simply by fading obvious "too good to be true" lines, you are still just breaking even at -110. Making a little bit at matchbook. But I bet your theory is less than 53%.

If it wasn't then there would be no need to cap games, just take the opposite side of "the line that looks to good to be true". And walk away a millionaire.

Why don't people just do what you explain and win gobs of money? Because it don't work like that.

Sure if you are getting +110 to +130 on up to the second market available lines then you are going to win money. Not sure how you can do that unless you book bets.

Ok well its the same thing with moneylines. There is a reason why the Bulls are getting +114 at matchbook and the Magic are -115. In the long run this will break even or close to it, unless you know what you are doing and are a good capper and know the Bulls to be a positive expected value bet.

But you can't take the +114 just because the public is on the other side. You can but you have about a 50% chance of making money in the short term (100 or so bets) and long term you will break even or close to it almost 100% of the time.

Fading the public is over rated. Its not a reason to bet by itself. It is something to consider but not a reason to make a bet.

But I don't know you and you may be a great capper as well.
