I hate Kansas almost as much as anyone, and that isn't an understatement. I can't stand Bill Self as a person, much like I think coach K is a schmuck, but also much like Coach K - I fully respect what they are able to do. What is that saying you under 30 folks say these day "Game recognize Game".

Bill Self is the best coach in college, it's obviously debatable, and Donovan most likely replaces Roy at UNC once old boy retires, so Billy is also a very good coach. I just can't ignore Self's streak of conference championships, many of them in years where he wasn't even projected top 2. His streak of conference championships is as impressive a stat as any other coach's stat's in the history of this game (aside from Wooden).

Self, don't like the guy, but it is insane to think he isn't at least a top 5 coach in the country - and at that point the argument about "who is better" is subjective.

Point being, Self is a helluva coach.

The only play here is the over... Being a KU homer for forever its hard not to notice our lack of defense this year. However, we have no problem scoring and I doubt Florida will either with their top guards returning.

With these new rules its just hard to see this game even going under 140...

If you can get an in-game line when KU is down by 10 sometime in the first half (lets be honest its gonna happen) take the points. Bill rarely gets blown out and is probably the best coach in the final 5 minutes of a game the NCAA has seen in the past 20+ years...

You're comparing them to a raw talent in Wiggins whose body isn't fully developed yet. I like Parker best of the 3 but people are jumping the gun way too early on Wiggins. He deserves some time.

When I saw wiggins in HS, the LeBron comparisons athletically were on point. Athleticism doesn't get it done consistently in college, court is too small, teams can play legit zone and pack it in, etc.

Wiggins is a much better pro prospect than college prospect, and a guy you can build around. He's top 5 material.

He just isn't going to take Kansas as far as Jabari can take Duke.

Self is the best recruiter in the nation. He's like the cool uncle and is a player's coach. His bench coaching is not that great, and come NCAA tournament 1st round, he shits his pants and hyperventilates if his team is down at the first timeout. Hence, the loss to Northern Iowa, and the two first round losses to Bradley and Belmont. His players feed off of his panic and play tight. Great coach? Not at all, but he will always succeed because he gets the talent.

calipari is easily the best recruiter in the nation... perhaps his methods contain a few more $$$ than others though ... i sure do wish Pastner was a better coach, because he is the best young recruiter out there...just has no clue what to do with the talent he gets
