Have you ever fell victim to a scam?
All this Brock Landers talk got me thinking about the various scams we are exposed to everyday, such as infomercials and pyramid schemes etc....What are your live and learn experiences with these?

The most prominent one I can think of was in my senior year of high school I heard about this presentation at the Marriot hotel, and that I should check it out. So I went there with about 10 random kids, the company was 2by2.net, standard pyramid scheme, and all I remember from that PowerPoint presentation was visions of Lamborghini's and repetitive talk of easy money, by just starting a website and recruiting others or something. So I wrote out a check (as well did a few others) for $420 (interesting #). And nothing ever happened, Ill admit I was pretty lazy about it and didn't really pursue it too much. There were a few unconfirmed rumors of people making a hundred bucks or so... Anyone else?

i used to hustle. one night i made a move where this dude gave me 500$ in fake bills. i passed them off to people up the food chain and never heard anything again. needless to say the fukker got all 4 tires slashed, windows broke and his nice white picket fence in his front yard was painted fire engine red.

          Once as a teenager.

Buddy and I each bought a hit of acid outside a concert we were going to which turned out to be nothing but a piece of paper.

          Bummer.

My wife scammed me. Before we were married the sex was incredible. After marriage and 2 kids not so much. She told me that our sex lives would live forever. She conned me big time. Now I can't divorce her because it would cost toooooo much and I'd only see my boys half the time. But she is a nice person and an awesome mother so I'll ride it out and just phuck around on youporn every night.

                          Glad u brought this up.

Years ago when I used to go to Vegas on a regular basis, I would often see a caravan of cars with 2by2.net logo plastered on the side. They were often full of young college kids. I used to wonder what the hell that was about. Now i know.

As far as being scammed an offshore book stole over $3k. And there was a site that used to give away free stuff the only catch is u had to fill out a rebate form. Well after investigating them I felt safe enough to finally order. Well, shortly thereafter they filed for bankruptcy. some lost over $50,000.... I lost like $120.
