He isn't really the mentoring type, he is quiet and tries to stay out of the spotlight. He is one of those guys that actually hates being famous. He isn't really a good locker room guy because it is almost as if he doesn't exist in the locker room.

37, with bad knees and undersized. No Thanks.

All those years on turf really did a number on his body, hes a average Number 3 receiver at this point in his career.

I'm wondering what Hines Ward will have left in the tank too... he's getting up there in age, maybe 34 now? all those hits he takes and GIVES gotta take a toll on the body

Hines does have some advantages though, Hines is a much more physical lager receiver. When he takes a hit on that frame it doesn't effect him nearly as much as it does a Marvin Harrison.

Ward was never a quick little slashing receiver either, yeah he was fast but not like Harrison. Ward could transition to more of a possession receiver and still have 3 good years.

yeah ward will only be 33 next year.... he always has been mainly a possession/slot receiver mainly....

the guy has no ACL in one or both knees... pretty amazing

He would be the best receiver on the Vikings. Of course the Vikings have no qb to throw the ball but that's another story.

what ever happened with that whole gun thing? they determined it was his gun right? and he had beef with the guy that got shot earlier, in front of witnesses...

did he get cleared? is it still pending?
