    New Pucks Rules At Pinnacle
I just now noticed this one.

    Please note:

Effective immediately, hockey games will be graded on the results of regulation time only, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the line offering.
I personally love the fact that they tweaked the pucks betting, because those puck lines were brutal last year. I don't know about you guys, but these new rules will be a great asset to me

I guess a good idea, hockey though is the least bet sport so I do not think most people care about the rule change. Most books are lucky if they take 25 hockey bets a night

JJ, You have no idea how much these new rules will make a difference with pucks bettors. With these new rules everything revirts back to the old school type pucks capping with a bigger player advantage too I might add.

I hope this new rule is on NHL too. They've always had it reg. time only on European leagues.

I think they ( and 5D) offered it both ways ( 60 min) and the standard way with shoot-out counting.

Since it's not NHL season, I think this is a reminder to those betting German and other current hockey, as to the rule of no OT.

It won't change from last year at most books, IMO. This just makes it clear.

i like the change, I hope more books offer this option.........hard enought to cap hockey without shootout and OT.

I like hockey, its fast and intense.
Dunno why so many folks think its boring.

Does the NHL still exist? I was thinking about starting a bogus pharmaceutical company that sells "sleeping pills" made of baking soda. The medication would instruct users to take one pill and watch at least one full period of NHL hockey. People would be sleeping like babies.

heres pinny's reply back to my email:

                        Dear Sir,

This will include all hockey games including NHL as it states on the site "unless otherwise stated".

If you check the betting page if there is change from regulation time on a game it will state it on the same betting page.

We hope this helps answer your query.

                        Regards,

                        Customer Service Department
                        Pinnacle Sports

If you check the betting page if there is change from regulation time on a game it will state it on the same betting page.

I find this one to really be interesting.

That statement speaks volumes if you if you know what your looking for in a game IMO

They'll offer it both ways, like 5D does.

So with us being about 2 weeks into the NHL season, has these new rules been profitable for you guys?

I got bit once on the -0.5 a puck. It was just the other night, the Wild tied it up with 8 mins left and it was 1-1 after regulation. But other then that, Its been going pretty good.

Getting good value on them half a pucks. Like the Stars were +145 -0.5 last night against the Kings.
