Spurs are without Ginobilli for 3 weeks. Garnett just got hurt. Cavs are banged up and didnt pull off a much needed trade to beat the Lakers. And Orlando lost their PG.(Rafer wont be the answer). Meanwhile, the Lakers lose their Center, a double/double player, and dont skip a beat. Actually, they get even better. This year, the championship is the Lakers to lose. Just imagine, Bynum will be back by playoff time for LA. No stopping them. No team made any upgrades before the trade deadline to stop them.

I'm a delusional fan...#2 seed either way. There is hope if LA somehow gets knocked out early.

If the Nuggets can pick up a big man, the can definitely contend with Lakers. Gasol/Kobe and Odom being rejuvenated again will be too much for anybody in the west. I still think Cleveland can play with the Lakers if they meet in the Finals.

Just looked around for it. They say it is a strained right knee.

The Lakers just became prohibitive favorites. Lets say 2-1 odds to win it all. Depending on the severity of Garnetts injury, best case scenario, Boston drops to 5-1, Cleveland 6-1, San Antonio and Orlando 7-1. Denver 9-1, Phoenix 10-1.
