I must say I've been enjoying the ride the canadiens have given me, as a habs hater there is no sweeter feeling than watching them lose at such a great pace.

I must say I'm a fan of the habs when they stink, Nicky, what a great gift from the habs to me!

you know regular season in NHL means squat. kovalev is coming back from russia. det lost 9 straight last year at this time. they won cup. habs are coasting. watch out for playoffs. they will get so hot in spring and win cup. just like they did in 86 and 93 when they were crappy all year and won cup. montreal always blooms in playoffs. this is a playoff city. habs will win cup or at least go very very far. best habs team in 30 yrs.. when healthy.. i am not nervous at all.

Nicky, that Montreal media is too much. There was a report that Kovalev had been traded to the Penguins for Kris Letang, which would have been an awful deal for the Penguins. And I saw a few reports that there is a big story involving some off the ice incidents involving some Montreal players.

kovalev is probably one of the best players ever for all star games, but he has zero heart and no determination when it really matters.

I have no ill will towards Kovi, he was great as a Penguin, but he takes a lot of shit up there, some warranted some not. Either way he isn't made up to be the best player on a team, if he is the second or third best he will be a lot more effective.

It does, but Mario was handcuffed by injuries. Their ppg are very similar, and Mario's was higher before he came back from retirement in 2001. But given both in their prime on the top of their games, I am taking Mario.

I don't want to start a big thing, but I don't think either one is the clear cut best.
