Yes, there is a reason why they are the league's worst team; but they generally play pretty close tough games against the Rangers, and it is hard to believe that you can get +200 against a team that has gone invisible on offense and has lost 8 of their last 9.

As poor as the Rangers offense has been coupled with the Islanders general lack of offense, I saw this as more of an ugly 4 or 5 goal game.

But -140 is way too high with so many intangibles in play.

I'm liking the puckline on NYI, but surely the Rangers must get back on the straight and narrow soon. They won 5 on the bounce before losing 5 on the bounce. This is their best opportunity to get their season back on track against basement NYI.

Even though the Rangers are in a horrible slump the only team that can probably match them for bad slumps are the Isles.

What people do not see is that of that 8 of 9 only 3 of those games were at home. Beat Washington, lost to Philly and Atlanta. Crowd will be wild tonight because all of a sudden every game is important.

I think they get out of their streak here.

The puck line is a very good bet here as well... I just dislike +1.5 end of pucklines a lot. Nothing worse then capping a game correctly that it will be a close 1 goal game only to have all your capping (and cash) thrown away with an empty net goal.
