    No One Believes A-Rod
Even though he did give more info than any other player. I think the part he left out is that he was doing heavy duty roids and he did it longer than he claimed. He will never get in Hall.

Clemens of course is a sure lock to never get in even more than Mcguire now.

He may have been honest about the type and schedule that he was taking them in I doubt he did it just with the Rangers. It's too easy too say since there will never be conclusive truth if he did them prior to 2001 and anytime between now and 2003.

I thought A-Rod held a good press conference. Did he do more roids then what he admitted, and for longer then he admitted? The answer is: More then likely. I cant be to hard on A-Rod for the incident of taking roids. The fact of the matter is MLB never had public testing for performance substances back in the day. I am also sure any private testing that was held was kept very hush hush, and out of the public eye.

If this was one incident with one player in a all clean league, then I can see everyone getting worked up about it. I would say more then 50% of MLB baseball players in the 80's-current have used some sort of perfomance enhancing drug. So knowing this has been in baseball and going on for the better part of the last 20 or so years, how can one pass judgment and bash any singal player for doing what most of the players were doing already.

No doubt that all the recent talk, trials, etc.. in the MLB for the last few years has put a dark cloud over the sport. Everyone from friends or people in local taverns are all talking up if there favorite baseball players were clean during there peak performances throughout there career.

Put yourself in A-Rods situation, would you just spill your guts out and rat on yourself about every little thing you did in life that you were'nt supposed to do? For A-Rod to sit up in front of the press and admit to what he admitted to had to be hard enough on any person.

At this point people just have to move on from what has happend in MLB. Baseball will have Regular drug testing in place now, so problem solved. As far as the last 20 years or so are concerned, the way I see it is, it was roids playing Vs. roids, so who really had an unfair advantage?

Its time for everyone to move past the roid era in Baseball, and the some what of a circus the media has been making of it.

Who cares if he did steroids. Stuff wasn't banned back then. Plus, 99% of MLB players did it back then. Whats the big deal?

How many of us smoke tons of weed? Snort coke? Drink too much beer? The drive by media just has too much time on their hands and they need to try to totally destroy the guy.

We're so quick to talk smack about A-Rod because none of us has ever made a mistake in our own lives.
