when you break even at gambling, you are basically a winner, NO JOKE.. books hate you when you break even. they want to win, not tie you..

It is so tough to win at gambling, that there is a famous expression i saw many years ago that stuck to my head for life.. it's about a guy that went to Vegas for 1 week to gamble and this is what he said...

" I SURE HOPE I BREAK EVEN, I CAN USE THE MONEY"

and this is very true cause if you do break even and not lose, you will go back home feeling like a real winner. breaking even is so so tough to do when you gamble.

Those words stuck to my head for life. i nver forgot this saying..

99% of posters right now would love to take the break even choice the last 5 years and we all would have lots of money. If you break even you are a huge winner.

You are right Coach but it does not make most guys feel like a winner, even winning small amounts I feel like a loser I dont feel like a winner unless I have a wallet so thick it does not fit in my pocket given this has only happened a few times in a 7 yr gambling trek when it did it was the best feeling in the world, and if I could hit reset and go back to breaking even for the entire time I have gambled I'd do it in a second as would most

great post, jj.. and right on the money. 99% is about right. it's the amount of people that say, damn, if only i broke even the last 2 yrs and didn't lose 7k, i could have bought anything i wanted in any store today, and instead, i don't have it..

so getting back that 7k they lost would make them feel rich..

bottom line, no one wants to break even when they gamble, but when they are down big after 1 yr, they are all wishing they can be even again and then they'd feel like a big winner.
