    Roids who really is guilty?
Is it the Bonds, Sosa's, Arod's of baseball....Or is it the fans and the owners who are even more guilty. Look we saw the HR chase between Big Mac and Sosa both guys hulking up. Are we to say we had so much fun watching the chase we couldnt see a size difference? Or the owners and baseball itself who made multi millions
with fans having so much interest in baseball again. Yes it was back in our living rooms everyday we had to see that next Homer!!!!!
Come on we are all guilty, baseball itself more so than anyone else.
Bonds once a string bean turns into a massive hulk and catches Hank Arron did we care that he looked like a body builder or did we watch every night trying to see that great HR in baseball history.
I'm not saying what happened was good for baseball it wasn't, but what I am saying is I understand how some of these guys wanted the fame and money that we asked for them to have. Yeah there's bad parts to it...the guys who didnt use well the playing field wasn't even for them and they probably made less money for it.
The users did however risk time with their families steriods can kill so they actually risked some parts of their lives in the long run. Now is the end of the steriod era hopefully, use now and your guilty yourself, baseball is actually taking steps to stop the use and even the playing field back up. I don't blame they guys who did it when we asked for it or when baseball turned a blind eye because of the profits they made.
I do find it funny the commissioner says Arod shamed the game. Didn't all of us shame the game? Does he really believe baseball was clueless to what was happening. We as fans didn't we see the difference, Yes we did but we were enjoying the chase so much we were blinded.
I feel for the guys getting drilled they just wanted to play the game and become bigger hero's. They take the rap for all of us, for baseball itself.
Here's a message to the commissioner.....SMC ya fake you knew "YOU" shamed the game.

The people who really care are the Ken Burns types who feel that baseball is more than just a game. It's why A-Rod and Shawne Merriman can happen.

I look at it this way:

I once sprayed an entire can of OFF in my mouth. Probably not the smartest thing to do...BUT!!...I have to admit that I have never ever once had a mosquito bite inside my mouth.

There is good to be found in all bad. Think about it.

The writers for making too big a deal of it. I don't hear any outrage against amphetamines that were taken in the 70's.

Management let it happen and the players took advantage. There is testing now, let it die.

Ur in the publics eye ... writers are the worst kind .... they find something small to create a big monster out of it ... but it is up to you to see how big they can blow it up ... so yeah ... the athletes are still at fault.

I pretty much spread the blame all around konck, from the players to the owners to the media to the fans. The players made the ultimate decision to use them or experiment with PEDs, and the rest of us turned a blind eye for various reasons.

Each time you see a story on Bonds or Clemens or Rodriguez or McGwire, you should think of the names Selig and Fehr as well. Seriously, pull up some of the video that Selig has given to various Congressional committees and tell me that man isn't lying through his teeth. I think it's Pelosi in one of the hearings that reminds him 5-6 times he's under oath because he can't keep that forked tongue from spitting out another untruth.

And the leading hypocrites are the media. For years, they wouldn't dare report what they were hearing/seeing because they didn't really have all the facts in. Ok, I can dig that. But now, mere suspicion without facts is enough for some of them to go off with diarrhea of the keyboard posting articles about players before they have all the facts in.

Here's a photo of Bud from the hearings I mentioned when someone on the committee repeatedly reminded him he was under oath...You can almost read his mind, "Hold on Senator, I'm thinking of my next lie."

Oooh, and here's an oldie but goodie. Pick a winner, Bud?
