The only reason i can see why they didn't take a knee may be No. Ill probably has about from 1,000 to 2,000 diehard fans who go to road games and bet heavily on the games. The coach knowing that wants to be on the good side of these fanatics and so he felt a need to cover the spread.

Going for the TD certainly raised eyebrows when it wasn't necessary!!!
