He has a heart condition. Because he got a DUI, the court wants him to get a surgery to fix it.

no he didn't get jail for the dui, but he is being forced into care for his heart condition.

Studder was pulled by the cops about 1 month ago (probably less) ... He was drinking heavily and got a DUI ... but the court looked at his medical condition and decided it was best to take care of his heart condition and lay off the jail time.

We hope he gets better soon and can join us in chat.

They just about summed it up pretty nicely. Heart condition in which his left ventricle isn't functioning properly. He says that he feels fine and because of that is trying to avoid surgery if at all possible. Due to the medicine he was on and the DUI the court is saying that he is a hazard to himself and possibly others. They are forcing him into the hospital because of that. This doesn't mean that they can make him have the surgery but they can keep him in there until a doctor and board "clears" him to leave.

Likely they aren't going to clear him anytime soon (even though he may feel fine) unless he gets a surgery that may make things better but has a chance of not working in which case could make things worse. Its a tough situation and really feel bad for the kid.

We are all hoping that things start looking up for him as he is about as solid as they get for a person.
