Why do fans consider themselves part of the team?
the whole "we are getting better of late" or" we have had some problems in the paint" etc. etc...
If your not watching games from the bench than you cant be considered in the "we"

My wife does this, she'll say, " how we'd do today, or did we win"
"we didnt do a damn thing" "we sat on our asses drinking beer while THEY played a hell of a game"

I like the pick though.

Even though Kentucky won 70-60 in previous meeting this season, Vanderbilt was playing without their leading score, center A.J. Ogilvy. ANd now Kentucky will be without their big man. Patterson. Kentucky has not shot well when playing Vandy. Just take a look at the previous matchup. I like vandy +1 in the first half.

I plan on it, roles are reversed this game onner. Vandy is at home WITH Ogilvy against Kentucky WITHOUT Patterson. If Patterson misses much time, UK is finished

he may be back but for how long? Meeks and Patterson are injury prone anyway. I doubt he'll be back at full force.

How is Meeks injury prone? Again, you are not aware of the offseason training regimen that Meeks went through to prevent injuries, looks like it has worked.
