I would worry a lot more about some old fukk, then some young hothead.

The dude has obviously been around a while and he didn't stay in business by letting dude's stiff him.

He will collect, whether through money or flesh.

Pay the man and be done with gambling.

Worst case scenario, and make damn sure you are done gambling before you do this so you don't get in another situation where you have to do this again, is take out a loan from a family member.

I doubt your dad will fukk you up for missing a loan payment, like this dude very well should do if you stiff him.

I didn't read all the posts and honestly, I personally have been stiffed by bookies one to many times. I don't agree with you're action to stiff him though. When it comes down to it on both sides if a party is owed money they need to be paid that money. Whether it be the betting party or the one taking the action. Quite frankly, if you don't have the cash you should not be playing. Best luck to you though

First off I'm sorry man, that sucks. A lot of people here including myself have been there, betting $ they really don't have to lose. Not only did you lose all that $ but you feel like a POS for being in a position to not pay. Don't be too hard on yourself man, it happens, everyone makes mistakes. But where you go from here is critical, you have to man up and talk to this guy. Just say "hey, I made a mistake and I'm really sorry but I don't have all the $ right now." Then tell him the best you can do according to your situation, he may be pissed yeah, and he has a right to be. But if go in and maybe give him $25 upfront and say hey ill pay you minimum $25 a week until I pay you off, then in the end he will be happy he's getting paid instead of you taking the cowards way out and disappearing.
