I went to the Prudential center in Newark on Saturday and Hash Da-Beet looked unf!@#ing stopable. Do you guys think he keeps up the stellar play? Price usually steps up for Big East games as well.
So who you on?

I'll take UCONN by a small margin strictly based on Home Court Advantage.

I'm 10 minutes away from the XL, it's definitely Uconn territory. Don't know if it will make much of a difference in the outcome. My gut is telling me Pitt here. Don't know if I can get off the fence on this one though.

I like Pitt ALOT here ITH
by the way, regarding the home court advantage...this game is at the XL center, not at their oncampus fieldhouse.....
so the home court advantage is not as much, most of Uconn's home loses come at the XL.... such as georgtown... and I would bet their ATS w/l record there has to be like only 35%/65% over the years

Not saying I totally disagree with you Chi, but we're 25 minutes outside of Storrs, CT. The students usually come out in full force and it can get really loud. With Uconn #1 your gonna have a lot of people coming out of the woodwork to support them.

Thabeet is at the top of his game. Pitt IMO will come down from last game and UCONN (the rest of the team) will step up---a lot on the line...basically a WATCH game for me.

JBC77 the stats support Chi's claim but I totally agree with you...UCONN territory 16000 husky fans will be there tonight. Would be a historical win for UCONN

just nothing like playing an oncampus game, where you are drinking all day then walk down to your seats and go crazy, most fieldhouses have the fans breathing right down the players necks.... and the home team feels alot more comfortable on that court, rims, ect..... they play/practice there all the time...
its just not the same.... no doubt you will have tremendous support for uconn there...
regarding Thabeet.... I have to see him have a monster game against a big time front court player, before I think he has turned the corner.... guy should be unreal in 5 years.... but he needs alot of polish....
that being said, you can';t teach his size...
but I believe Blair did what he always did last year vs thabeet/Adrien...... and thabeet was a non factor
I have to look up the stats, but I recall blair missing a ton of little bunny put backs that cost them the game

Pittsburgh has 2-3 guys that will wear out the Tanzanian Devil (Thabeet). He will be worn out with body shots.

I remember when Uconn and ND squared off and Thabeet said, that no one was better then him... and that he played against Harangody before and then Harangody dominated him
Adrien is a much better player overall at this stage of the game... I love that guy's game

These teams are very close to each other and have similar stats. It could go either way...so I'm not sure why anyone would go big on PITT or UCONN. I think the under is a stronger play.

I think I'm on PITT here. Here is why... Pitt is 4-3 ATS and When playing Uconn they are 6-4. The Under looks like a good play here also which it has gone Under 7 of the last 10 games. Both teams are HOT so I hope Pitt comes out with the water hose and cools down those Huskies!

The Panthers have won four of their last five games against top-5 opponents, but the lone loss was an 80-76 defeat at then-No. 1 Connecticut on Jan. 31, 2006. They’re 0-13 all-time against top-ranked teams
