At least a horse race lasts only a couple of minutes so I'd rather watch a horse race like the Kentucky Derby over a Nascar race anyday. I will watch parts of a Nascar race, but never watch the whole race from start to finish.

i guess the midgets on ponies for me, even though both are like playing the lotto when it comes to betting, you can't handicap that shit. I can't ask the horse if he his feeling good that day, hell, he might have a little tummy ache, or whatever. the same goes for the cars. I can't know who is going to blow a tire or an engine or whatever and take out half the racers.
Or like yesterday , i had put money on Stewart and Newman mid-week before both wrecked in practice and were forced to use back-up cars, then in the race Stewart still had a shot, but damn rain calls the race early.
