    Inside Information in BBD's "Retirement"
BBD felt he was underpaid and demanded a raise, SBR ignored it so BBD quit/"retired".

Now the forum is a dump...BBD was very valuable and worth the money

That is what I heard too onner.

They forced him out and then say "Well he retired".

          Good job Bill.

The forum seems like it has less traffic and threads since Megan's Law man left. He was an asset to the forum and I miss the 2nd half who are you taking threads.

It's true, BBD didn't quit or retire, he was fired for not agreeing with the new philosophy under which SBR wants to operate the forum. They wanted to make the forum more sports focused and not continue it as the community of gamblers that it has evolved into. This way they can generate more revenue from poster losses. Rather than go along with this "vision," BBD decided to leave with his dignity intact. That why you see him post things such as the following:

The truth is there for any SBR-izen to see. That's why we have to make a stand and resist their efforts to tear apart our little degenerate community. Rise up! Viva the original SBR, viva la revolución!

this forum is so sad. I never realized how many degenerates there are. People are trying to analyze the departure of a "mod/poster" Can I officially book everyone's action here? I would be rich, fuk the lotto.

                      Gents,

BBD will be fine without SBR and SBR will be fine without BBD. It is encouraging to see so many posters loyal to him as he was a great asset to SBR for a very long time, but none of you are very accurate in your hypotheses on Dan's departure. Whatever any of you may have "heard" is probably at least third hand. That being said, there are certainly no hard feelings from SBR's perspective and would bet the same is true from Dan's.

                      Best regards,

                      Mr. D

These threads remind me of high school. My friends and I used to spread made up rumors, just to hear how contorted they became when they got back to us. If BBD had any animosity, he wouldn't continue to post here. Simple as that.
