Panic, you forgot to mention Lou in your list of quality guys. He never says "That isn't my job" or asks for recognition when he does more than he's asked, which is everyday. He takes more abuse than anybody on the forum and never responds in anger or disgust. He displays more daily committment to this group of degens than Mother Teresa did to the poor. On top of that, he taught me everything I know about making money on women's tennis. He deserves respect and deference from everyone here.
That being said, he's just one man, and although he may be the glue that holds it together, even the strongest epoxy can't hold something together that's broken into a million pieces. I'm with you, let's pour a drink and watch the place burn down.

Mods responsibilities aren't really to make the board look busy. Mods should probably contribute somewhat to the general discussions but really, a mod shouldn't have to post at all. He has a job and responsibilities and should have things to do.
This thread is more about having paid posters. People who force noise and keep things looking busy.
I personally am not in favor of paid posters. I know I am not alone as I have seen others here who are very critical of other forums that use them.

I think the confusion you speak of comes from the fact that BBD used to start threads...Most of them were fun and received much poster interaction(Take Wheel of Banishment or his Monthly payout reports for example)
Now we are left with Williebee who is good but doesnt start too many threads....Crazyl who iis the worst mod here and starts the worst threads in the world, The General who starts threads and uses one-liners without much substance and Vegas Dave whose a tout and hasnt been around for a while.
