billy boy, i wouldn't take these SSLP threads seriously.. this is like the 14th time he's come in here after a 1 month layoff and said, why is sbr so dead? it's his schtick.. he loves to do this all the time to get the boys all riled up here.

SSLP, You raise an interesting point as to how the SBR forum is slipping. But for those of us who are new, we don't get a lot of the stuff that is printed here. It's sort of like an "inside" job. Just a few posters I'm sure even know the story of SBR forum from day one.

For example I have no idea what you do for a living and I'm sure myself and others wouuld like to know.

See what I mean. I don't even know who Happy Girl is. Reading some of this threads is thread is looking watching a foreign film. We need captioning, language translation, whose in, whose out. I'm thinking of changing my username to "Thread Killer". If jumped in a few times and asked a question or made a comment on a particular thread.....and BOOM it goes silent.

The exact same question crossed my mind too. I'm with Bob; even with my zillion posts I don't always feel "in" on the inside jokes. But when I see that avatar, I immediately thought, Happy Girl!

No matter what has happened to SBR it is a happier place with her around.

This place lost all respectability with the constant shilling of highly suspicious books such as CW. Noone really trusts SBR or its posters. So, now its more of entertainment and a few high school clicks gathering to laugh and play games like girly boys.
