Funny I feel just the opposite. Football season was absolutely grueling to extract a profit from, and it only started when I put a personal moratorium on the NFL and just focused on the college conferences I know well, Pac-10 & Big Ten, with some WAC and MWC sprinkled in for variety. In contrast, while college basketball has been very streaky for me, I've had the best numbers in my gambling career with this season of college hoops. I still play the NBA as well, but don't play their totals anymore, and have found success there too.
