Typical NBA. Home team with a double digit lead is never safe.

Pekovic/Love? (Pekovic easily the strongest guy in the NBA)
Gasol/Randolph?
Drummond/Monroe?
Kanter/Favors got nothing on those guys

Really no other sport like this in the world.
Swings are almost laughable.
Even college game isn't this bad.

why is that a bad thing for the sport? if anything (taking gambling out of the equation) it goes to prove that a team is never out of it, and turning off the game b/c of a 20 point deficit in the 3rd quarter will usually have you miss out on some good action.
i love the nba...

Unreal. I just assumed they had won. I hadn't seen the final until now.
Nobody can hold the lead in the NBA anymore.

guy couldnt be more wrong. crunched all his numbers and had houston running out of gas. instead they were as spy as could be flying all over the court in the 4th

Thats what you get if you play these long 12 minute quarters and also permanently interupt the games for tv timeouts
Momentum can change in a hurry

This happens because barely anyone plays hard in the NBA these days. If you like a bad product because it's unpredictable, then I guess it's for you. I just have a really difficult time watching bad basketball, and that's the case across most of the league right now. That's why no one is in the seats watching.

completely disagree with you on this.....not sure how this is so unpredictable when the same teams are in the final 4, 8 each year.
thats the one aspect of the sport that i dont like - for a long season, it would be nice to have some surprise teams like baseball win it all. i love the nba b/c of the constant action, and of course the excitement of having some $$ on games and also rooting for my own fantasy team of players...
having some players dog it every now and again is prevalent in many sports other then the NBA.
i had no idea attendance was down....but i doubt thats the case in places like indy, utah, ny, port and other arenas known for raucous crowds
and my backing of the sport in this discussion still leaves it at, MLB>NFL>NBA..........i just love all 3. im not trying to say the nba is the greatest sport in the world, i just dont think its as terrible as you keep making it out to be. start playing fantasy hoops again, and i bet you'll start enjoying it more. until demarcus cousins gets benched for acting like an idiot early in a game. ha....that annoyed me this morning.

Jazz don't have a closer. No guy who is gonna take over in the 4th and get his own shot. Last year Al Jefferson put together some HUGE 4th quarters for them. Randy Foye was big for the Jazz last year off the bench. Utah will be lucky to win 25 games this year.
