The 3000-point limit thing -- little help please
I'm confused about this, anyone in the know care to clarify?

Who is it exactly who gets capped at 3,000 points now? Is it every SBR Pro who has ever let their status expire? So once you become non-Pro even for a day you will never have more than 3,000 points again? Thus, you can get $100 gift cards but never an iPad, etc.? Hmm...

If you renew for 3000 points you are can only keep an additional 3000 points. So if you have 7000 points and renew with points, you lose 1000 points.

I believe that's how it goes.

If a non-pro's balance exceeds 3k it will be reset to 3k and the same applies to members who let their membership lapse. Pro's memberships who are expiring soon can renew with the 3k option. Non-pro merchandise in the store is limited. A non-pro's choices are a shirt and a cap.

Can someone explain to me why do non-pros with more than 3,000 points keep betting at the Sportsbook and playing at the Casino?

This has to be one of life's greatest mysteries. 2nd only to the Bing Bang theory and which came first, the chicken or the egg?

This is still confusing. You mean one time reset to 3K or FOR ALL TIME set to 3K?

            Capy,

Former members can still renew paying with points but their max balance is 3k. So when they apply their point balance is reset to 3k.

Right. So not for ALL TIME, you mean just a one-time reset to 3K from whereever they were if they had more than 6K when they reapplied, right? OR, do you mean that their points can then NEVER EXCEED 3K?

Right, it is just a one time reset when you apply.

If pro expires you can only keep 3k if you have lots of points.

After you go pro it's business as usual.
