How long have you been in this game?!?!
Hey Guys!! How long have you been in this game? The game of investing in sports. Please share your experiences and adventures. Tips would be great too. I have been investing in sports for 4 months now. Full time. I decided to go all in after unsuccessfully trying to find a decent job over the summer, right out of college. My journey in this game has been great and I plan on keep going this way. I'm in better financial status than most of my peers and I love everything about investing in sports. I hope to make friends here and explore the forums more.

I started with sportsbetting a few years ago just when i signed up with sbr.
Only played poker before but got sick of it and moved to sportsbetting.
Took me a while to figure everything out but then took a few square books for 10 000 each.
I was only 19 or 20 @ that time and spend most of the money for drugs whores and parties.

Also lost some big bets betting on some hot russian tennis chicks during french open.

Took me a while to get over that, but nowadays im focusing on my career and do sportsbetting recreationally most of the time.

Haven't made money over a long period of time until this year. Coincidentally this is the first year I've put work into my picks. Up roughly 80 units on the year, most of it actually posted on here.

I'd say about a year and a half.

It feels like a lifetime though.

Sports betting is a tough racket.

january 15th 2012, remember it like it was yesterday. my first deposit was $200 plus a bonus and i put it all on NYG ml to beat the packers (was like +310). with a bonus that i had also bet i had about 950 in my account that night and lost it all playing blackjack. the next week i put 500 in and put it on giants ml again and lost it all on a clippers game the next day i believe haha. they were playing the lakers and were up by 10 in the 3rd quarter or something but they lost i was so mad. then i made a 1000 dollar deposit and put it on the giants to beat the pats. had about 2100 sitting pretty and was betting nba pretty well for a few weeks until i went on monkey tilt and lost all of that. those were the days.
