I've watched the clippers alot preseason and the first game of the season, your a fool to think the clippers will cover tonight there a long long ways away from playing in docs system no way in hell I'd play the clip show tonight I'm ridin

What's your take on this game Goat? Whether it's a play or no-play for you, how do you cap it? Based on the results of yes, one game, because that's all there is to go off of right now besides preseason, the Clippers looked like they were not hitting on all cylinders while the Warriors looked fully primed and got into a great rhythm. Clippers had an off day to figure things out and are playing at home again. Warriors are coming off a big win and traveling for the first time this season, albeit, it's only an hour away.

My take: Not saying they ARE better, but the Warriors do LOOK better than the Clips right now and there's some value in those +6.5 points because they come directly from the LA-Blake Griffin-Chris Paul-betting public. Of course, looks are deceiving and anything can happen. The over seems like a fair play too.

You cap every game based on the matchups, the anticipated adjustments, home court (in certain arenas -- i.e. not staples), amount of rest coming into game (not a factor here), and a few other things. only 10% of your capping should be based on public %'s and line movement. if you look at the lakerman's history, sure he's had some good years betting nba. but you know what clip he hits at? under 45%. he's sometimes successful because he finds spots and he hits them for like "100x".

The fact Golden State blew the Lakers out and the Lakers blew the Clippers out means nothing. It makes the Golden State play appear to be a sucker bet, but Golden State is the better team from a talent perspective.
