What you had was the prototypical out-hustling/more effort situation last night.

Lakers bench was hungrier, and they were hitting their shots.

Jordan Hill and Xavier Henry were so damn good last night it was insane.

Jordan Hill can bring what you saw last night to every game, whether the shots go in is the only question.

Lakers undefeated on opening night without Kobe. There is something there. Sharing of the rock more, playing team defense, giving full effort and nobodies shot taking precedent over anyone elses, which allows the team to be much more selective as everyone is searching for the best look, and not hesitating once they get it.
