I Can see why you have to bet, get in Office Pools, have Parlay cards and Play Fantasy Football. it is because that is the only why to make this National Fraud League fun. I do not participate in any of that nonsense. So when you just sit and try watch football it stinks. The Announcers all Suck the Color Guys analyze every stinking play. The NFL IS GARBAGE.

you have to bet on the nfl to make in marginally interesting, whether a pool, a parlay, a teaser, or flat bet with a friend at no juice. the games actually only have about 8 minutes of actual play (stopwatch it sometime if you don't believe) the time clicks off walking back to the huddle or watching qb's check off with their signal count. all the players seem to be getting injured in droves this year and their are too many teams watering down the talent pool. college is even worse, who can follow all those teams on a saturday. you have to be devoted to it. also high spreads in college make it impossible to bet one way or another. go to a bar and patrons are more interested in drinking than watching the games.

true, but nfl would be pretty far down on my list for things i would watch without a bet on it. very little action if you really think about it, even less then baseball actually, and so many commercials.

there are so many people who only bet the nfl (or play fantasy) and nothing else, thats why its so much more popular then every other sport.

Yep, every time someone scores or makes an interception you have to hold your breath and wait to see if there is a flag.
