Pats are +785, normally the fave is +400-+500. Weird.

    That is very weird,

Could you post the full team listing from the site you are pulling that from?

Really no clear cut favorite this year IMO. No team is worlds stronger than any other, and with injuries playing such a key part in it all, even a return of almost 8 to 1 does nothing for me.

I would hit up the Ravens +2000.

          Also the Chargers.

            Thank you sea,

That's not bad value on the Patriots at all but I think there is a few bad lines in there right off the bat.

Miami, Indy, and Atlanta all have good value as it stands now.

Cowboys at +1100 is far too high,
Vikings at +1800 is a joke
Detriot at +17500...it really should be about +25000 or more.

Cowboys should have been favored to win the SB last year and this year "on paper", but the reality is that team is doomed with Wade Phillips/Romo in the playoffs.

                    Saints +2000

Now since they have Gregg Williams to take over that defense they will be a force to be reckon with

The Pats are back this year baby, they ended up missing the playoffs last year with an 11-5 record and if they snuck in could have ran the table. Tom Brady coming back definitely puts them in the drivers seat to get back to the show again next year!!

I think the Chiefs and Raiders have a bit of value at those prices...

"Wah wah wah, you are a Raider fan"... I know. But the Chargers are not that dominant of a team, and while they are the obvious choice to win the division due to process of elimination, it isn't too much of a stretch to believe that an injury or two puts them out of it.

The Raiders were virtually all rookies on offense last year and managed 5 wins, and coughed up some games they absolutely should have won (Buffalo, SD first time around). With another year under everyone's belt and a couple of lucky bounces, a 2 or 3 win improvement isn't out of the question.

                                    Considering the quick turn arounds that are possible in the NFL;

                                    2007 Miami Dolphins: 1-15
                                    2008 Miami Dolphins: 11-5

                                    2007 Baltimore Ravens: 5-11
                                    2008 Baltimore Ravens: 11-5

                                    2007 Atlanta Falcons: 4-12
                                    2008 Atlanta Falcons: 11-5

Granted, I know these teams made strides to get better and changes that the Raiders/Chiefs didn't make, but in a division where an 8-8 team could concievably make the playoffs, 125 to 1 and 150 to 1 would be pretty damn easy to hedge a profit off of.
