    paying for a name in sports
    big name teams always have spreads that just are not accurate. For example duke at wake forest a few weeks ago. The line was Duke -2. Which makes absolutely no sense. it was the #1 team playing the #3 team at the time. With wake being the home team they should have been giving 2 or 3 points instead of getting 2. I know once baseball starts the yankees ML will be -200+ every game.NBA the celtics and lakers always have much larger spreads than say orlando who is just as good. Im just wondering if anyone else has noticed these patterns

      Most of us here have noticed this and I attribute it to the public betting the more popular or noticable team hard which moves the line from realistic to profitable for a book maker.

          I vaguely remember a video of it also. I know at the very worst he at least made a big deal about this in a while back.
