              USC had PLENTY of opportunities to score but kept turning the damn ball over...they moved the ball even without Shaw but yes he definitely needed to be in there. The goal line fumble followed by the 97 yard play to Mizzou...only getting the 3 not 6 at the end of the 4th when they had it 1st and goal inside the 3.

                yes, turnovers are part of the game

                my point is anyone handicapping it did not handicap Shaw being in there. The discussion was whether he'd need surgery or not, no one thought he was going to play.

                So Spurrier bringing him in was unexpected and bailed out the C ock backers.

                The Cocks did not score a single point until Shaw was brought in.
