#38i know it horrible,, by then they be up to 18 gm schedule as well.. as much as i love fb they are gonna ruin it with this bs,, hearing they considering a 2nd thu night gm as well, like 1 of those isnt garbage enough, there is such a thing as overkill. i guess on bright side prob be good bet to take the london team at home and fade them on road, lol..Originally posted by DoYouNotGetITA team is going to be in London within the next decade. #39Think London team at home will be a easy bet because the time zone change is 4-7 hours forward, but London to US is 4-7 hours backwards so not a big deal for the London team.Originally posted by 2daBanki know it horrible,, by then they be up to 18 gm schedule as well.. as much as i love fb they are gonna ruin it with this bs,, hearing they considering a 2nd thu night gm as well, like 1 of those isnt garbage enough, there is such a thing as overkill. i guess on bright side prob be good bet to take the london team at home and fade them on road, lol..
If you have traveled gaining time (backwards) is so much easier than losing time (forwards).Comment -

For instance, Teams A and B play in London after a bye week on a Thursday, NFL Network gets to televise that game, and then are scheduled 10 days later on regular NFL Sunday. Something like that.
NFL is a business, a filthy, dirty, borderline criminal business, and a lot of the original owners almost a century ago founded this league on dirty money, so don't think this league is clean, it's not. My point being, if the league stands to make beau-coup cash by expanding to London, it will be done, book that. Right now the powers that be are trying the London experiment out to see if the ends justify the means.
To those who think the NFL will be ruined by this, think again.
We will all still be here, on these boards, betting all the games regardless if it's in Arizona, New York, Foxboro, London, Moscow, Cairo, Mars, or Saturn.
Hell, half you guys would bet the Martian Green Men over the Saturn Spacers getting 4.5 points on Saturn's home filed (the fourth ring) because you like the way the Martian QB throws in Saturn's gravity.Comment -

..you right, i still dont have to like it! and in general i never touch the london gms now cause it just adds to many outside factors i cant cap and this shit hard enough already..the whole 2 thu gms and 18 gm schedule would turn me off more than london team probably as that only 1 gm a week..all the changes they have made to shade everything to offense has already made me less of a fan but i still love it and tolerate it, just had to learn to start betting more overs than unders which sucked for a while as i was always good picking out the low scoring shitfest, but that has gotten much harder over the years..

#44you have one problem, Pete Carroll is the opposition coach, this is the bloke who went for it on 4th and long when up 51-0 last year, has won his past 5 divisional matches by an average of 26pts.
Double Digit Dogs are good, on Sundays but on Monday Night they cover at just 40% since 1989, you think a good team isn't going to bring it on a Monday Night?Comment -

I have this tracked since 1989, H and line>=10. Since 1989, this situation has lost money in 11 of 24 years. A lot of this attraction has come in the last few years, going 9-1 ATS since 2011. From 2002-10 it went 23-21-0 52.2% ATS. From 1989-2001 it went 43-31-4 58.1% ATS

#532-4 on the list all covered. Seattle facing rookie QB and in good spot coming off Thursday night game. They really are a much, much better team in a lot of ways, with their defense and beast mode in full effect you probably can get a below average game from Wilson and Hawks still cover this. Really not a good spot for the Rams, but then again that's why line is right around 14. Throw in the Carroll factor and IMO bad spot to play the double digit home dog angle.Comment -

#54I will quote my post after the game. I normally agree with you, and in years past it's money.
NFL is strange this year with much less parody. I had my best year ever without much thought when I stopped being gun shy and just simple taking the better team. Giants v tb, niners v last four opponents, Denver Colts over, panthers v tb etc.
You will lose your ass on this bet. I know the NFC West inside and out. Rams are going to get destroyed and have no chance of covering. I smashed - 10.5 before Bradford got hurt. Please don'tComment -

#57Over the longterm i would tend to agree but the jags rams and vikes have punch yourself in the face for picking them worthiness to them. i am a niners fan but can still be objective i was on them the two weeks prior to playing the jags.that line was simply to big. Seattle has a reason to play hard niners are keeping pressure on and pete don't mind blowing out teams.Comment -
