    Great value on some stocks
The dow down again early this morning, how low it will go? who knows. Put as a small time invester I see a lot of value in some short term stocks.I'm not a broker so I don't recommend anything. Just wan't some feedback from people who agree and disagree.

I agree Willy. There are many stocks that are now trading at great value. I see the bottom holding at the low of 7400. I like tech with strong cash flow and a dividend, MSFT. I was formerly bullish on GE but wouldn't recommend it now as management provided negative color on upcoming dividends. Another one I DO like is Altria, MO. While the states are going to be hiking ciggy tax soon this stock seems (relatively) unfazed. They have a monster dividend and it is trading at obscene *earnings.

Small plays on JPM (strongest financial out there) and NE (hoping for an oil increase or Obama allowing more offshore drilling)

Boner there a companys with major growth expectations right now.A stock I'v done well with trading is AOAG currently at 0.03 per share I originally got it for 5 and dumped it for 9 went to 12 but oh well. Its a unique company that stock will do well around mid june to late july. Right now people are pushing the stock and selling but as long as you know this and don't get greedy you'll do alright. July is when they are expected to be delivering gold.

          Seriously doubt that.

I do think it can go lower than 7400, though.

6800-6900 with retail the way it is, imo.

Sure it could happen. Most analyst estimates are at least based on SOME semblance of possible outcomes. However, I think the pessimism is overbought by these doomsayers and that it is more likely that we bounce in a range from the Nov. 21 bottom of 7392.xx to ~8500 for a year or more. However, if it appears that housing and unemployment continue to drop breaking through the Nov. lows will likely become a reality. I think housing and employment numbers are the most important macro-economic factors to follow. I have money invested in equities b/c I am generally an optimistic guy, but make no mistake I have more in CD's and highly rated fixed income than I ever have before.

Retail Spending came out with great numbers today... I know individual firms might be floundering but the larger indicators were positively reported this morning.

I like Ford they are like other car companies going thru hard times
only they decided not to get involved asking for bailout money like
the others. They have put plans into place and will try to pull out of
trouble on there own. This will lead to better structure and a very favoable public opinion. It may take a while there stock is a nice buy now. Ford 1.77
