Valentine's Day suggested retail price inflated crap,is it worth buying the junk?

Has anyone seen or heard a commercial advertising something of value and practicality that you can buy someone for Valentine's Day?Vermont Teddy Bears for $$$$$$$delivered to your door=crap,Pajamas with red hearts delivered to your door= junk,giving a spa certificate for $200 for mud baths.etc.= waist,boxes of heart shaped frilly chocolate boxes where the candy company puts all their cream filled offbeat flavors=awful.

Anyone have any better ideas like putting money in a sportsbook account for your sweetie or going for an overnight stay at a land based casino instead?I haven't seen or heard anything gambling related run Valentine's Day specials.Has anyone else here seen any bonus promotion ads for sportsbooks and casinos for Valentine's Day?If anyone went this route,did your wife or girlfriend get pissed at you for giving something like that to her?

Valentine's Day is Amateur Night, like New Year's Eve. In my experiences, I've found that giving your sweetie flowers several times a year out of the blue and without prodding of a Hallmark Holiday scores more brownie points than some sappy card or box of candy on Feb 14.
