The Bulldogs are undefeated and they continue to climb their way up the rankings, despite the fact that they haven't really played anybody. Not only have they been padding their stats against unranked teams, they have failed to cover the spread in all but one of their games.

The Fresno State defense has allowed an average of more than 30 points per game - ranking 89th in the nation.
The Bulldogs are giving up 9.5 points on the road this week versus San Diego State and they may have to be lucky to win this game outright.

Pavy is correct, Oregon may have played a ranked team, on the road, while Fresno has not and will not play one the entire season. Or that Oregon beat Tennessee by 45, the same Tennessee that beat #11 SC and only lost by 3 in OT to #6 Georgia. But yes, Fresno has played a tougher schedule, those games against Hawaii, Idaho, UNLV and Cal Poly aren't cupcakes my friends.

I won't take a side on this game because in my view it will be close...ATS. Fresno has some offensive power but they also like a strong punch to stop a good opponent with their defense.

I would enjoy the Fresno St. success this year, forget about betting them, they are not a very good ATS team, but who cares?! You're an alum, when is the last time they were ranked in the top 25?

Being from San Diego I'm partial to that SDST, 9.5 is a gift IMO for a team that has had time to prepare, Rocky Long's defense will be ready, I'm sure QB play will be the deciding factor in the Fresno State win, but I do believe SDST covers.
