#5My fav was Stardust. RIP.
Of the ones that are still around..... probably Venetian. Not too crowded and located next to a Chinese restaurant. But you gotta valet park cause it literally took me like 2 miles to walk there from the parking lot.Comment -

#6Depends. If you mean betting, it's the Hilton by a mile. More games, more options. They have totals and halftime lines for every game. No other book in Vegas has that. I can't handle the Flamingo for watching games. There aren't enough TV's. I'd much rather cross the street to Caesars and get a table with a personal TV as well as the big screens. Wynn is nice for that too. Comfortable seating as well and decent cocktail service (even though I very rarely drink when I'm gambling). MGM has the best spread of TV's if you want to watch several games at the same time.Comment -

#10God. I must be tired. Thought I saw Flamingo on there. Not a fan of the Plaza really. Their TV's are ancient. Another book I like to bet at but not watch games. Not to mention, the place is a haven for the homeless. If you don't mind the smell of booze and urine and watching games on circa-1990 big screens, it's fine.Comment -

#11Yeah El-Cortez actually isn't bad for a downtown book... Freemont is tiny. 4 Queens' book is the size of most casinos' keno stations. Although, they (Cal-Neva) offer the best parlay odds in town. The Nugget is small as well but probably the best for viewing downtown, as long as it's not crowded and you're not trying to watch more than a few games at once. They have the most comfortable seating. Bellagio sucks because you always have to crane your head up so high to watch the game. However, the seats are comfortable and you don't need drink tickets to get a free cocktail. The Venetian is similar. Ballys isn't too bad. You do have personal TV's. But I hate the projection screens. They should move them up toward the betting windows more so you can see them all better from all angles in the book. Not to mention, you can't bet on Celtic games at any of the Harrahs properties...Comment -

#12come on Monkey all of vegas is a haven for the homeless except a couple of strip casinos. Typical American city. They're pretty spacious for downtown and have a good setup with those tvs. But yeah, personally I'm not a big fan of watching games in sportsbooks.bird bird da bird's da wordComment -

#13Some books left off the list:
Stratosphere: Soft, slower moving lines. Decent seating. Need to wager at least $50 for drink tickets though.
Hard Rock: Another book with soft dog lines. Zero seating or TV's though. Horrible place to try to watch a game.Comment -

#21When I was lived in Vegas they had a little rat hole place called Little Ceasars where cab drivers play .25 craps. The sports book took any action though, you could even parlay any events on the board....even futures with daily games it was a great book.Comment -

Great beverage service and tons of chairs.
Plenty of TVs and they put the real big games on the giant screen.
El Cortez is actually cool. True degenerates roam thereComment -

#27What I like about El Cortez is that you've got a mix of some of the most desperate people in the world. On one hand, there are the guys who look homeless and they are betting their 2-dollar parlay cards. Then you've got the sports veteran in there, the guy who knows more about sportsbetting than anyone else but he's still wearing an old denim jacket and white Nikes. He watches the screen with no emotion. Then you got guys like me who are in there watching the other two classes of people. Then you got trash-talkers in there who are trying to place bets against other people in the sportsbook. You get all of this, a good game, and free beer. Then if you win some money you can go play low-limit craps.Comment -
