i'm not going to back joe webb, but this is essentially correct. rg3 hit a bunch of deep passes last year off the play action from the read option which is why it worked. you have to have a pretty special guy at qb for that to work. tebow stinks.

Agree, even washed up McGahee thrived in that set up. Will never happen though since Minny has 3 suck quarterbacks at their disposal. NFL needs to think about contraction.

I will give him the benefit of a few more games. He hadn't practiced with the Vikes offence, and he didn't know the playbook. I don't think he's the answer either, but there's more wrong with his team than just the QB. Absolutely pathetic back-to-back lay down performances from the Vikings.
