I almost fell off my booth at the all you can eat joint when I heard on tv that Selig got a raise of 3.5 million to a total of 17.5 salary for the 09 season.All the guy does is beg for tax payer dollars from federal,state and local politicians to get welfare for new stadiums.Selig was so far ahead of the curve when it came to wanting freebie pork stimulus money that Obama went to him to learn witch doctor keynesian baseball stadium economics.Selig's only real job in life was as a used car sales lot owner.The 1960 era Jerry Lewis lookalike has reached the heights of owning the Brewers and getting Wisconsin tax payers to buy him a free stadium and now making 17.5 mill as the commissioner.

How does someone with so little going for him in life rise to such lofty heights????????One of the greatest unsolved mysteries ranking right up there with who built the pyramids and Stonehenge.

A lot of used car salesmen, or in Seilg's case, ex-used car salesmen, have gotten ahead in life scamming people. If you want a history about just how underhanded and snake-like Selig is with regards to his baseball business, start with how he bought (stole?) the old Seattle Pilots and moved them to Milwaukee. Then go talk to that crooked Canuck Paul Beeston who has proven time and time again he can't keep from talking out of both sides of his mouth.
