Celtics ML and Cavs ML = even money pay-out PART 2
The Celtics are on a three game skid and going up against the lowly Hornets. The Cavs have lost two straight for the first time this year and they'll be facing the no defense Suns at home.

The Celtics and Cavs won't be playing the Spurs and Lakers this time. They'll be up against mediocre to bad competition.

Celtics ML and Cavs ML = approximately even money pay-out, who likes this play? Who doesn't like it?

Even if there is value there I don't like the play. Both teams should win and the bet should pay out about 1.1-1 but all things considered its not worth any sort of risk beyond a normal 1u play.

Thanks for that. I didn't do the parlay last time because I passed on the Celtics. There is a lot of risk in a parlay but in this situation I feel confident, both teams need a win against inferior competition.

I would go Cavs/Magic but that's me. I have not seen the line for the Celts either.

With West and Pavlovic out, I just read the quote below on the Cavs' ESPN board. I'm dropping the Cavs, I'm not sure they have the talent to win consistently right now.

The Cavs simply can't win a title with the production they are getting from the 4 spot. Ben Wallace and J.J. Hickson is literally doing nothing, and is just occupying space on the court. The last 2 games both have been a disgrace. In the Laker game Ben Wallace and J.J. Hickson combined had only 2 points and 6 rebounds. That's not including the two uncontested dunks Ben Wallace missed, and J.J. just standing around letting Lamar Odom have his way on the offensive boards. Tonight against Indiana, Ben Wallace and J.J. Hickson had 3 points and 9 rebounds combined. The Cavs just can't win a NBA championship with that kind of performance from 2 players at the 4 spot. I REPEAT, THE CAVS CAN'T WIN AGAINST THE ELITE TEAMS IN A SERIES WITH BEN WALLACE AND J.J. HICKSON AT THE 4 SPOT. The game against the Lakers was a prime example of how the elite teams will play the Cavs in the playoffs. The Lakers whole defense collapses on Lebron, and he passed the ball to Ben Wallace all alone under the goal, and Ben Wallace missed wide open dunks, which played a major factor in the game. Z doesn't really play under the basket, and Z is very good in his role and leaves the lane open for Lebron, but the Cavs need a finisher at the 4 position. HICKSON IS NOT READY FOR THE NBA PLAYOFFS PERIOD. HICKSON DOESN'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO BLOCK OUT. Ben Wallace need to give a few minutes off of the bench. That should be Ben Wallace's role. As long as Ben Wallace can't finish under the goal, teams in the playoff will continue to collapse on Lebron, forcing the Cavs to be a 3 point shooting team. ********There is no way a GM can be 1 player away from the championship, and have 21 million in expiring contracts, and don't upgrade the 4 position. THERE IS NO WAY A TEAM CAN STOP LEBRON WHEN HE HAS Z AND AMARE ON THE FRONT LINE ALONG WITH HIM. Here is two deals the Cavs can pull off at the same time.
