No Oregon would not. Alabama defensive speed is as fast as Oregon offensive speed, as was the case every time Oregon had a chance to play a top-tier SEC team. That's why they only scored 19 vs. Auburn in the BCS Championship a few years ago and when they scored 27 vs. LSU a couple of years ago, they were actually at 13 until two garbage touchdowns after the game was decided.

Yeh got to agree with LT Profits. No way in hell Oregon scores 40 points vs Bama. If your rationale is the A&M game, two different types of offense. FSU might have whooped a sorry good for nothing Clemson (I should know as I'm the dumba** who took them +4) but they're not in the same league as Bama.
Now FSU-Oregon would be a hell of a matchup...

i think the oregon defense is better then it gets credit for, their offense puts a lot of pressure on there defense because they have to play so much. leach was throwing it around yesterday like he needed the cover in the 4th quarter, the oregon dc even called him out for it today.

Florida State has not played NC State yet huck, that is this Saturday. For the record I think the 30 point spread is a bit high, but its pretty necessary to get some even money following the beatdown. It is also FSU homecoming and there will be a halftime ceremony to honor Bobby Bowden. Im not saying FSU will cover. Im just not playing it

this article led me to believe we were 4-1 headed into the matchup with clemson. We did not cover the spread against BC, but besides that have been cashing tickets all year. I play the overs in our games more than I play the spreads (I layed off the clemson over, but took the 2h over). We singlehandedly covered the total in the Maryland game.
