Not exactly. Dunleavy is making basically the same as Belinelli. So they did replace Belinelli with Dunleavy. Robinson couldn't have come back and didn't make sense. I thought it was the right choice at the time, although MB is a better player now. I think the main reason was with Butler moving to the 2 the Bulls were looking more for a backup at the 3, and MB is a 2. Dunleavy is a 3 who can play some 2, so more flexible. Personally I think the Bulls would be better off with Korver back than either of them, not that it was an option.

Hinrich was already under contract for another season. Bulls could not have kept both MB and NR. Hinrich is OK in certain spots, but he can't really play the 2 off the ball. I thought Dunleavy would be a good signing, but he better start committing to D soon or he won't play. What's Malcolm Thomas doing? I thought he could really help the Bulls.
