Derrik Rose is a \*\*\*\*\*\*. Sounds like his voice is gonna crack at any minute. 50/50 chance he doesnt even stay healthy this year. Hopefully he worked on a mid range shot during rehab kid can't do shit but drive and is a decent 3 point shooter in rhythm. He has holes in his game everywhere. Avg defender just like entire league. If this guy is healthy, the Bulls are a better team than Heat this year.
And unlike Lebron and IVerson, he doesn't need another superstar get get him a ring.
Iverson to Rose is a terrible comaprison by the way JJ, they aren't even close to the same type of player.
Rose can do it with the crew he has right now.
I like the Bulls chances this year. Best coach in the NBA as well.

Rose is not a great defender or a great distributor of the ball either

Rose plays with much better players than Iversen did

As of now they're basically the same type of players

Good Post...I have been saying this all summer...Love Miami and root for LJ....but Rose when healthy along with that defensive minded Bulls team are Championship caliber....I would be very surprised if they do not go to the finals this year....Miami cannot win a game 7 in Chicago..and Miami will not get home court this year..as they are too tired to play 82 games this year....they will coast for half the year and end up with 3 seed....Noah is the key however...bulls success depends on his health....Pacers could not deal with the Bulls last night..and the bulls were missing two of their most important players, Butler and Noah.....

I cannot substantiate his claim by measurement, but if you have watched the pre season games, he clearly is elevating higher than his opponents, higher than usual, especially on his jumper...nobody in the league can stop him...once he gets into the paint...I think his workouts focused specifically on his leg muscles, the running jump off one leg, etc...there may even have been an over emphasis on his vertical ability and as a result, the dude is twice as powerful elevating than he was previous to the injury...

to suggest that someone is way better after a major acl reconstructive surgery is ridiculous. ive had the surgery myself and i could never play or leap like i did prior to the injury.

and iverson in his prime was the best perimeter defender and best scorer in the league. he carried bunch of nobodies to the nba finals. rose shot 25% fg in the 4th quarters when he had a chance to do the same. rose will never come close to duplicating iversons feats.
